Latin American art and literature, particularly Fantastic Realism has been a lifelong passion and influence on my work. These influences inform this series– a playful means to expand the way I work technically and conceptually. Through a stream of consciousness response to a given moment, this series is a visual journal of fleeting thoughts. They are made from my scrap pile of handmade papers, finished with machine drawn elements and used to inspire much of the sculptural vessel series.
